I like to focus.

Reduction instead of a grab bag. Concentration instead of distraction.

Therefore, I set priorities.

boost <> resilience

"I know people who don't seem to be blown away by anything. How do they do it?"

(Coachee)

That's not true, of course. Anyone can be knocked down or shaken by something at some point. But is resilience more than just a buzzword? Yes, it certainly is. Because we are all resilient, the question is: "How much"? You can successfully work on how you act and react and be more resilient as a result. This can be:

  • How do I separate a fact from the emotion?
  • Can I perhaps assess a situation differently?
  • Which of my attitudes are unhelpful and how can I change them?
  • How can I recharge my batteries on the spot and then carry on, calm and energized?

sustain <> performance

"I like to perform. I seek tasks that challenge me, without my being overextended all the time."

(Coachee)

Performance IS important. What is even more important is to develop an ability to perform sustainably in the long-term. I work with my coachees to resolve challenges such as:

  • How do I work effectively?
  • How do I plan and consequently live my career and professional life for the long term and in a sustainable way?
  • Am I exploiting myself? If so, how do I find a good balance instead?
  • What do I really want to achieve vs. "I have to juggle everything"?
  • What can I do to switch off and relax?
  • How do I recuperate and stock up on new energy?

I want to realize the best mix for and with my coachees: optimal performance combined with sustainable performance, over a long period of time.

embrace <> digital&AI

"Sometimes it feels like everything is just rushing past - impressions, information, to-dos, everything."

(Coachee)

Digital working and now AI have come to stay. It creates a new working environment: faster, more dynamic, more complex, sometimes even incomprehensible at first. The term VUCA is often used to describe the new world of work: volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous. When working with my coachees, we develop solutions to questions such as:

  • How do I deal with rapid, quasi-permanent change and stay unruffled and serene?
  • How can I shield myself from the constant flood of information, questions, impressions?
  • How do I filter out what the really important things are?
  • How do I approach AI with curiosity, confidence and an open mind?

Frequently asked questions

Coaching is a very personal and individual service. Not every coach suits every coachee, and vice versa. That's why I offer two formats to get to know each other:

  • A 15-minute free phone call/video call, simply to get an impression of each other.
  • Or a 45-minute introductory session for a reduced fee, which includes a deeper dive into questions such as: Where do you find yourself at the moment? What would you like to achieve? What are your expectations of me and the coaching process?

You are most welcome to make an appointment online.

As my fees vary, I cannot give any concrete information about them before getting to know the potential coachee. Please feel free to contact me for a free initial meeting by phone or video call; as a part of this I can give you more information.

If you are a company and you would like to offer coaching for your employees, please contact me for further information, including fees, at: +43 664 216 70 70 or via Email.

Appointments can be conveniently made via the website's integrated online booking system . You will find the available introductory sessions in the online calendar. All other sessions can be booked by my coachees via a special, personal link to the booking system.

If available, you are welcome to register for my weekly coaching group for new managers (< one year). The coaching lasts two hours and is designed for a maximum of 6 participants. Sessions with new participants take place on-site in my office; for all other sessions, the group can decide together whether they prefer to meet on-site or online.

It is not always possible to keep an appointment as planned. To ensure smooth scheduling and to give another client the opportunity to take advantage of an appointment which becomes available, the following guidelines apply:

  • Please inform us of any necessary postponement or cancellation 48 hours before the appointment. If a postponement or cancellation is received less than 48 hours in advance, half of the scheduled fee for the appointment will be charged. In the event of postponement or cancellation less than 24 hours before the appointment, the scheduled fee will be charged in full.
  • You can postpone or cancel your appointment by telephone or via the online booking system.

Discretion and confidentiality are the basis of a successful coaching relationship. In addition to being a matter of course, confidentiality is also formally anchored in my General Terms and Conditions.

Furthermore, my clients' data is handled in compliance with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) of the European Union throughout.

Employee coaching is a valuable resource. If it is implemented with the necessary quality and continuity, the results are also quantifiable: a reduction in employee turnover, an increase in productivity, and an improvement in the results orientation of the workforce can result. Among other things, coaching supports the development of managers, promotes resilience and adaptability, can help to resolve conflicts in the workplace and promotes the overall professional development of employees, leading to greater job satisfaction and performance.

Choosing the right business coach is a crucial step on the road to success. Here are some key criteria you should consider when choosing a business coach:

  • Training: "Coach" is not a protected professional title and therefore anyone can call themselves a coach. Make sure you choose a coach with a degree/certification from a recognized coaching training institution.
  • Experience: Choose someone with proven business experience to be your business coach.
  • Method/approach: Make sure that the coach works with an approach and tools that are scientifically sound and proven in practice.
  • Coaching style: The coaching style must suit your personality and your learning style. An initial consultation can help you determine this.
  • Ethics and integrity: Make sure you feel from the outset that the coach has the highest ethical standards and integrity and will keep everything you disclose - whether it's your job or your privacy - confidential.
  • Recommendation: Last but not least - ask around among colleagues, friends and acquaintances or ask your HR department. This can be a great help in finding the right coach.

It's not just large companies that bear social responsibility, and so I am not excluding myself from this topic. Every year, I coach two NGO managers or management teams free of charge. The coaching process lasts for a year, after which the places are reallocated. If you are interested, please send me an email to interested@abridge.cc
